Stairlifts & Vertical Platform Lifts

Stairlifts, or sometimes referred to as chairlifts, are perfect for multi-leveled houses with household members who have difficulty climbing stairs due to an accident, illness or age. With a stairlift installed in your home you will be able to transport yourself upstairs and downstairs with comfort and ease! All you have to do is sit, and the chair lifts you up the steps. When not in use, the stairlift chair easily folds up and out of the way. Understandably, some people put off getting one. Yet our customers say life is so much easier with a stairlift and most wish they’d had one sooner.

Vertical platform lifts are used primarily by a person with physical disabilities to overcome differences in height from one level of their home to the next. These height differences prohibit the use of a wheelchair or scooter. This difference can be as little as two feet to as much as fourteen feet, inside or outside the home. While a ramp could be used in many of these cases, it would require a long ramp that would require large amounts of time and money to build. And, unlike a stair lift, a vertical platform lift can be used by wheelchair and scooter users, transporting both them and their mobility device at the same time.

At R & J Mobility Service, we offer stairlifts and vertical platform lifts by two of the industry’s leading manufacturers:
