Creative Controls, Inc. (CCI) was founded over 30 years ago by Thomas Stowers, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mr. Stowers set out to make life more enjoyable for those who are faced with the challenge of mobility due to a disability. As the CEO, Tom assumes full management responsibility for the company, including delivery on the company’s vision of “empowering people through great innovations – any time, any place and on any device”. When looking back, the record shows that Stowers has been very successful in this endeavor. CCI has also grown to be one of the most highly recognized and respected companies in the mobility industry.

Power Gas & Brake

 

Advanced “Light Touch / Low Effort” power hand control for gas and brake. Operates as a stand-alone control or can be combined with a variety of vehicle controls and systems. This versatile control features an inclusive back-up brake system designed specifically for this application.

AirTouch™ Pneumatic Gas/Brake

  • Incorporates position feedback to allow the user great control and smooth operation.
  • AirTouch features low-effort and low-travel design.
  • AirTouch uses an onboard compressor specifically designed for use with remote control of gas and brake in automotive applications. With normal use, the compressor will last three times as long as a typical vehicle.
  • AirTouch has an initial response time of one-tenth of a second. The response time to a change in control input from full gas to full brake is less than four-tenths of a second. SAE recommendations were an important factor in its design to ensure the highest level of quality and functionality.
  • AirTouch can be installed in almost any vehicle because space requirements are minimal.

Powered Parking Brake

 

CCI (Creative Controls, Inc.) designed the Electric Parking Brake push button control to set the parking brake with ease. With a unique increasing torque feature and compact design allowing for easy installation by our certified technicians. Usually required when driving from a wheelchair or power-chair. Conveniently located touch control has instant on/off switch and warning light.

The EPB works on most vehicles with ABS Brakes.

Compatible with:

Hand Lever (Pull-Type) Foot Pedal (Push-Type)

*Recommended for use on all vehicles equipped with hand controls.

Easy to use

  • To set CCI’s EPB – Simply press the button until the Parking Brake is applied to the desired amount.
  • To release the EPB – Press the same button momentarily.

Back-Up Systems

In the event of primary system failure, these systems will act as your safety net. They were designed to help keep you in control in the event of an emergency.

BACK-UP POWER STEERING

Model 2160
Provides power steering in the event of stock pump failure.
  • Automatically activates when engine failure occurs.
  • Protects against power steering failure in the event of ignition interruption.
  • Incorporates manual activation and self-testing.
  • Required with the Reduced Effort Power Steering modification.

BACK-UP BRAKING

Model 2130
Provides emergency power assisted braking if the OEM power brake system fails due to engine failure or low vacuum.
  • Test circuit is included so backup system can be periodically checked by customer.
  • Audio and visual alarms alert driver to power brake system failure.
  • Required with the Reduced Effort Braking modification.

BACK-UP BATTERY

Model 2120
Provides emergency starting power in the event of primary battery failure.
  • Second battery is isolated from primary battery system.
  • Backup battery system is recharged by your vehicles alternator.
  • Provides emergency battery power for added safety and convenience, which can provide emergency power to operate wheelchair lifts, power doors, etc.

LogiTouch Wireless Controls

 

LogiTouch™ is ideal for drivers who are looking for ease in operating a vehicle’s secondary controls (switches). LogiTouch adds a new dimension to adaptive driving by putting up to 18 function controls right at your fingertips. The National Mobility Equipment Driving Association (NMEDA) recommendations were an important factor in its design to ensure the highest level of quality and functionality.

  • Durable hard plastic case houses the internal electronics.

  • Uses common AAA batteries (2), which last about a year (with normal use).
  • Buttons are labeled with universal symbols that are easy to understand.

RF Technology

  • Incorporates Radio Frequency (RF) technology to provide wireless control of many secondary functions, which allows for unrestriced mounting possibilities to be acheived without cumbersome wires or cables.
  • A compact control module is connected under the dash and receives the keypad signal from anywhere in the vehicle.
  • The keypad can be easily attached to optional steering wheel bracket/spinner knob.
  • Will not restrict airbag.
  • The modified car can be driven as normal. The keypad system does not affect the existing controls.
  • Simply remove the handset from the steering wheel using the quick release feature.

C-Tech Secondary Controls

C-Tech Secondary Control Systems- Allows operation of controls via large, accessible pads and/or a central control panel, whichever is needed.

Available Options:

  • Wiper, Washer, Right Turn, Left Turn, Horn, Dimmer, Hazard, Start, Cruise On/Cruise Set, Power Door (Lock/Unlock)  Driver / Passenger, Blower, Power Window (Up/Down) Driver / Passenger, Ignition, Parking Lights, Dome Light, Head Lights,  and many more.
This unit is equipped with a 12 Switch Electronic Console and the intelligent relay packs. Includes any 12 functions you want – Lights, Horn, Interior Lights, Turn Signals, Windshield Wiper(s), etc. You pick the 12 features you want.
This C-Tech Secondary Controls System – is equipped with the four (4) Switch Electronic Console with the intelligent relay packs. This unit allows for the operation of both the turn signals (Left and right), the windshield wiper(s) and the washer fluid for the windshield.
This C-Tech Secondary Control System – is equipped with the three (3) Switch Electronic Console with the intelligent relay packs. This unit displayed allows for the operation of the horn, turning on of the cruise control and setting the speed of the cruise control, but the button can be wired to almost any control on your vehicle.
This is the two (2) Switch Electronic Console with the intelligent relay packs. This unit allows for the operation of the turning on of the cruise control and setting the speed of the cruise control.As with any C-Tech system any button can be set to your preference.
