At R & J Mobility Service, our service department’s experienced technicians specialize in the installation, maintenance and care of the mobility products we sell. Whether your wheelchair accessible vehicle or adaptive equipment needs routine maintenance, warranty work or sophisticated repairs, our technicians can handle the job. Each of our technicians is knowledgeable of and certified by the manufacturer on the particular equipment to be installed, serviced, or repaired. This ensures that the people who know the vehicles best will service them and their equipment according to factory specifications.

We understand that problems often arise at the most inconvenient times, so we provide customers with 24 hour, seven-day-a week service response. We have a system in place which allows customers easy access to an after-hours service telephone number. Our experienced team of technicians will respond to your service call promptly, and provide emergency assistance as warranted.

R & J Mobility Service understands that the purchase of a vehicle adapted for use by an individual with a disability is a big deal. Without the individual first familiarizing themselves in-person with the vehicle and its equipment can introduce many potential issues and risks. Since these modified vehicles usually have a level of custom components for safe and optimum usability, it is vital that the individual familiarize and interact with these components and equipment prior to committing to purchasing them. We will never pressure you into buying something you’re not comfortable with. At R & J Mobility Service you are always welcome to come back as many times as you like to familiarize yourself with the vehicle and/or products you’re thinking of purchasing.
Early in the consult process we can provide you with a copy of the most current NMEDA-endorsed consumer reference guide or website for selecting and purchasing adaptive vehicles and equipment so that you can become informed about the process and factors involved in selecting and purchasing adaptive vehicles and equipment.
At the end of a sale our mobility consultants and/or technicians will always demonstrate the proper use and maintenance of the mobility equipment. This demonstration and training will include the proper fit and use of any included wheelchair tie-down systems and wheelchair passenger restraint systems. Furthermore, it is always highly recommended to the individual that they demonstrate their competency in the use of all systems sold or provided by R & J Mobility Service. This assures everyone involved is completely satisfied and comfortable before you leave our shop.
